Eco Greendeals have systematically worked through my housing portfolio, maximising the use of utility company funding where appropriate, to bring the heating systems up to a higher energy efficiency level. The communications have been good, I would happily recommend their services.

We have already provided many energy efficiency improvements to private landlords and social housing providers and this is part of our business activities that we are always developing and increasing. The government’s expectations of housing quality are always being raised, and we are a proven partner to assist with bringing energy efficiency measures up to standard, improving the lives of tenants and occupiers.
In April 2018, under new rules, any privately rented properties will have to have an EPC value of at least an E rating, showing that the property is reasonably energy efficient. This will affect new tenancies signed from 1st April 2018 and any existing tenancies from 1st April 2020. Landlords after these dates, if they have not met this expectation, could be fined up to £4,000, and so any actions to increase properties EPC values, where necessary, are vitally important.
We are able to offer a range of energy efficiency measure to support increasing the EPC rating, from random stone cavity insulation through room in the roof and boiler upgrades, with other measures in between. Sometimes these measures can be partially funded by grants, to qualifying tenants, and we have direct funding contracts in place, with major utilities, to support this, where able.
We will communicate with all parties, owner and tenants, to ensure that any works take place with full understanding of dates, times and durance of activities. Any guarantees and warranties will be registered and returned to the landlord for future reference and compliance.
